Let’s appreciate the decade
Hey everyone. I think we should start the process of appreciating that a decade is coming to a close. The 2000s! They’re over. We need to start analyzing! Anyone up for starting some decade superlative debates on our Tumblrs?
I’ll start:
Best (mainstream) song of the decade:

Outkast’s perfect tune, “Hey Ya”
For the Honorable Mentions, I’m defining them not by actual objective musical quality, but rather by its influence on culture / affect on us / legacy.
The Next 15: Oops…I Did it Again? (produced in 1990’s but released in 2000), Lose Yourself, Yeah!, Since U Been Gone, 99 Problems, Where is the Love?, Paper Planes, Gold Digger, Don’t Know Why (Norah Jones), In the End (Linkin Park), I Want it That Way, Beautiful Day, Ms. Jackson, Say My Name, SexyBack
Others of Note: In Da Club, Hollaback Girl, You’re Beautiful, Low, Sk8er Boi, Lady Marmalade, Crazy in Love, Single Ladies, Hot in Herre, Your Body is a Wonderland, Stacy’s Mom, Unwritten
